How are the hostels of LPU?

LPU campus is regarded as one of the best campuses among private universities in India. Similarly, LPUs infrastructure is one of the biggest and best in the world. The campus of LPU is surrounded by trees and gardens that make teaching and learning environment more comfortable. The pollution-free and healthy environment at LPU campus is other major highlights of the campus. In LPU, the key points of hostel facilities are

1. CCTV based security in both boys and girls hostel.
2. 2. A dedicated team of warden and workers who are available in the hostel for 24 hours in shifts to provide facilities to students.
3. 3. Best north, south and other food facilities in the mess with quality and taste
4. 4. Near to hostels, there are playgrounds to play basketball, football, badminton, cricket.
5. 5. Indoor stadium for swimming, gyming, and learning various exciting games
6. 6. Flexible timing to visit Unimall, library and work at innovation studio
7. 7. Due to students from across the country, students are getting interacted with them and capturing various positive vibes in terms of language and knowledge sharing.
8. 8. In the weekends, DSW (Department of student welfare organizes various activities related to sports and entertainment for hostel students.
9. 9. Hostels are fully air-cooled with the option of both cooler and AC.
10. 10. The rooms have attached the washroom and each student has a separate B.Ed chair, study table, fan, almirah with locker facility. Power backup for light load only (not for AC/ Geyser/ Air cooler). Mess facility with vegetarian meals only. Parking two wheeler/car facility at designated places only. Gymnasium (optional on payment basis). Students in residential facility are permitted to keep Electrical Kettles, Electrical Irons, Steamer, Laptop, Mobile Charger, Shaving Set, Trimmer, Hair Straightener and Hair Dryer. Extra electricity bill due to the usage of these electrical items will be borne by the occupants of that room.

The security of the students is not compromised inside the residential facilities of LPU. The hostels are state of the art. Huge army of security personnel has been deployed all over the campus who keep a round-the-clock vigil.

LPU has a hostel from 1 seater to 6 Seater including the Ac and Non AC. To maintain cleanliness, rooms are cleaned about 23 times per week.  The room has an Air Conditioner, attached washroom, and Geyser in each room. Wooden Box Bed, Study Table, Chair, and Almirah. Students have to seek permission to use electrical gadgets having a maximum load of up to 5 amperes per apartment. One and two Seater apartments have attached lobby and kitchenette.

There is an electricity backup and water supply. In addition to it, staff assistance and medical service (Medicines and tests On Payment). Study Room, TV Room, Lift Facility, Fire Fighting System, Purified Water Facility, Maintenance Services, Wi-Fi Service, Free Electricity Units (As Applicable). There are 24 hr. electricity backup Water Supply, and services available. 

There are mess services, laundry services, dedicated parking, departmental store, cafeteria, saloon for boys, printing and copier machines, shops in all hostels, Guest Rooms, Car Wash Facility, Shopping Mall, and Tuck Shops.

From ala carte to regional mess, the LPU hostel has all. It has North Indian, South Indian, Rajasthani, and many other regional messes. A student can choose the food as per his or her taste. The quality of food is good. Parathas, Butter, Curd, Milk, Tea are served at breakfast. At lunch, Dry Vegetables, Dal, any Gravy item, Rice, Chapati, and Raita are served. In dinner Chapati, Seasonal Vegetables, Rice and Desserts are served.

The campus is ragging-free, drug-free, and tobacco-free. If someone has a problem in connection with the residential facilities room, one can complain. The hostel management looks into the matter and resolves it at the earliest.

The female guards are deployed in the girls' hostels. There are female security guards who look after the security of the girl's hostel. The Girls who want to study in the Central library at night are allotted 2 hrs. of time and are accompanied by guards to the library and back from the library to their respective hostels. 

Girls are not allowed to roam around the hostel till late at night. No outsiders are allowed. Even the parents have to get a GATE pass to enter the university premises. Strict disciplinary actions are taken against those who indulge in indiscipline. This is the reason why we don't come across any untoward incidents.
