Edumilestones started its journey in 2008 when we launched India’s first dedicated career assessment and counselling platform for career counsellors. We came across many students who chose wrong career paths and suffered in their career because of lack of guidance. There were only a handful of career counsellors to guide them. We took an initiative to address this problem. Initially, we started with 10 career counsellors by providing them career assessment tool.
In 2009 we realized, Career Assessment is an only diagnostic tool, not the entire solution. In India student prefer one on one career counselling. Understanding this, we decided strategically to focus and empower career counsellors by providing them with a proper career assessment tool specially designed for Indian students. We named this tool as CCPA (Comprehensive Career Planning Assessment).
There are only a handful of counsellors to guide lacs of confused students. There was no proper structure and knowledge was there. Considering this in 2010 we started CCA (Certified Career Analyst) Program for social entrepreneurs who wanted to start their own career counselling practice.
In 2014 we realized that students in developing countries also facing the same problem that leads to dissatisfaction and unemployment. With a vision to empower more number of counsellors we made footprints in the Middle East & Africa in 2014.
Going at a rapid pace and being up-to-date with the latest trends and technology, we redefined our platform using Artificial Intelligence in 2016. For every candidate, we analyze among 18+ Career Clusters, 160 + Career Paths and 3000 + Occupations to find out the most suitable career path. Such massive analysis is possible only using Artificial Intelligence and the latest technology. Our career report became a benchmark in the industry.
In 2018, we got recognized by APCDA, IAAP leading global career counselling bodies.
Now we have got a network of 1600+ career counsellors across 80+ locations and 8+ countries. More than 1 lac+ students have done their counselling through our elite network of career counsellors.
Latest Milestones. We are not stopping yet. Our latest achievement is College Predictor platform. Based on the 5-dimensional career assessment, our Artificial intelligence tool will analyze more than 1.6 Lac's colleges in India and predict the college admission chances of a candidate for a selected career path. We are the highest rated Career Counselling Platform in India.
Our next milestones: We are working towards enabling 10 million people in 5 years to identify their passionate career paths and clear roadmap to achieve it. Our mission is, to have more than 10,000+ professionally trained career counsellors in 20+ countries by 2025.
