Have you tried to teach in a school or university or any coaching center of repute? This will help you get back in touch with your field. In the meantime, you could explore options in research if you want to.
1. You can carry on further with your research as a Junior Scientist in any Research Laboratory (where work on your topic is going on) by applying for a Post Doc. Degree.
2. You can apply for job in Private/Government companies which have their own research labs and your PhD topic might be of their help with their upcoming products.
3.You can sit for exam conducted by state governments if you want to carry your career as a college lecturer.
