Robotics is an interdisciplinary branch of engineering and science that includes mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, computer science, and others. Robots are machines that can be used to do a defined task. Robotics engineers deal with the conception, design, manufacture, and operation of robots.
Most robots are "manipulators"—machines devised to function in place of a human.
Most robots are used in automobile industries to perform repetitive tasks. An automated robotic arm is used in the auto-manufacturing industry for multiple industrial applications like painting, welding, assembly of parts etc.
Some robots are also programmed to make simple decisions.

There are 2 ways to become a Robotics Engineer in India
Student can do 12-Science(Maths recommended). Then complete B.Tech/BE in Robotics/Mechatronics Engineering. Further you can Proceed with M.Tech in Robotics. Further you can Proceed with Ph.D. in area of speacialization.
